Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ stars his former Assistant Director Sidharth Malhotra (as Beefcake Abhimanyu), David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan (as Beefcake2 Rohan), and Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt (as clueless Shanaya). There’s also a role for Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani in there for good measure. Now, I don’t have as strong views about nepotism as some other people, but this *might* be pushing it a bit.

This film isn’t much better (or worse) than a guilty pleasure, honestly. And the nepokids definitely aren’t the worst of their kind. That’s more than can be said of the script, though, as you’ll find out soon enough.
